The areas here are organized by continent or sea and then by druvahn. "Druvahn" is the word the druids of Drav use to describe a druidic region. Each druvahn is widely different than the druvahn that neighbor it. For example, one druvahn may be subactic in climate, but the one that borders it may be a blazing desert. Sometimes neighboring druvahn are similar, but not always. Each druvahn is like a world of its own. Druvahn are seperated by chaotic border ley lines that are very hazardous to cross.

Druvahn are further subdivided by the druids into smaller subregions called metedruvahn. These subregions are described within each druvahn's description.

Drav is a terra world like Earth, Kyrnn, Oerth or Aber-Toril. These worlds all have forests and oceans, and are the habitat of races like humans and elves. However, Drav is much larger than most terra worlds are. It would be called a "super earth" by some sages. It also has regions that are more elemental in nature than what one would find on an average terra world, and many regions with unusual land types like fey land, fell land and undead, demonic and feindish lands. In these lands the nature of reality itself is different. In many of them the border between the prime material plane and other planes of existence thins or the planes overlap.

Drav also has very high levels of natural, uncontrollable magic. Wild magic is everywhere, as well as unusually powerful ley lines and nexus points.

In addition to being a very large planet with high levels of wild magic and unnatural land, Drav has very unique topography and structure. The laws of physics are subtlely different here and the elemental forces are more raw and closer to their pure form. One result of this is that there is a different range of natural ecosystems on Drav. For example, there are forests here at much higher elevations than there would be on Earth, and there is breathable air at greater heights. Light also reaches farther into the sea, creating deeper lighted underwater zones, and water pressure climbs at a slower rate. These differences make the natural ecosystems of Drav spread out over a wider range of elevation or sea depths than they would on worlds like Earth and creates special climates and ecosystems that do not exist on worlds like Earth.
